His medical career started in 2002 practicing in Merced, CA. He became the medical director of the Women’s Health Clinic at Golden valley health centers for the years 2003-2007. He also served as a medical officer at the Department of Public Health at Merced County in 2005-2006. He was appointed as a member of the teaching faculty at the University of CA-Davis family nurse practitioner/physician assistant program and at San Joaquin Valley Community College Physician Assistant program from 2004-2008.

Some of the many honors and award he has received are: Resident teacher award: 2002, Chicago Medical Society Certificate of Achievement: 2001, the CREOG Awards for years: 2010, 2011, 2012. Throughout more than a decade of practice in both OBGYN and family medicine, he acquired great experience and knowledge in treating women of the central valley of California.
